Established in 1880, where the expertise of artisan biscuit making lives on.
In the heart of Orbec, a small town full of character that has retained its charm and authenticity, stands a little shop called Les Biscuits d’Orbec, a place that is both unusual and timeless, with a long history to tell.
Currently closed. Reopening Friday, 10 April at 10 a.m.
Tradition & creativity
Founded in 1880, the company was taken over in 1929 by Mr Domer, a pastry chef, chocolatier and biscuit maker.
For nearly a century, thanks to his specialities, he built the reputation of this family business, and his daughters succeeded him until 2011, continuing in the same spirit.
Charmed by this shop and its history, Chantal and Jean-Jacques Acher revitalised the place by updating old recipes and continuing the finest traditions of quality, including the establishment’s iconic lemon tarts, artisanal Normandy shortbread biscuits and Demoiselles Domer fruit jellies.

In April 2024, the shop was taken over by Clara, who was also captivated by the charm and authenticity of the place. Above all, what matters to Clara is that the shop and the expertise in the art of biscuit making live on.
Clara left everything behind to pursue her passion and become the shop’s biscuit maker. Just as concerned with quality as her predecessors, she uses only the finest, highest-quality ingredients.
